Chef Konstantinos was born in Greece and his culinary career began in 1971. His expertise in Greek cuisine has evolved over the past 40 years and he strives to make classic Mediterranean dishes that taste delicious and leave customers wanting more. His expertise includes menu design and food service management. He made his chef's dream a reality in 1991 when he opened Ikaros Restaurant in Chantilly , VA. He had a simple goal of making a breakfast and lunch businesses successful. After 10 years and many happy customers later, he sold the business in 2001. He is currently the head chef and owner of Opa! Mezze Grill.
